FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL CLAIM RESOURCES

Farm property insurance claims.

A complete property-loss account connects the physical damage to the policy and the evidence supporting its value.

Review the operation, not just the damaged roof.

Identify each affected building, packing area, storage facility, item of equipment and inventory category. Review schedules, limits, deductibles and exclusions for the policy in force. A repair estimate alone may not describe the full insured loss.

Buildings and equipment.

Useful records may include photographs, construction details, equipment identifiers, purchase records, maintenance history and itemized repair or replacement estimates. Keep emergency mitigation expenses and document the condition before repairs when it is safe.

Stored goods and interrupted operations.

Inventory losses, spoilage, equipment breakdown and business-income losses require their own coverage review. Production interruptions are not automatically insured. Where applicable, inventory counts, temperature records, financial records and the timeline of interruption can support the claim.

Julio’s role as a public adjuster.

Julio represents the policyholder. The agreed services may include reviewing the policy, inspecting and documenting damage, organizing values and estimates, presenting the claim and communicating with the insurer about a resolution.

Any specialist costs, representation terms and fees are addressed through the required agreement. No claim outcome is guaranteed.

Start with the facts.

Bring the declarations, affected-property list, insurer correspondence and available photographs. If the event also damaged growing crops, keep the crop-policy process separate while reviewing how the losses relate.
